UM President’s Outdoor Scholars Program

Students in the UM President’s Outdoor Scholars Program worked with Alabama Power to deploy Christmas trees at Beeswax Landing on Lay Lake earlier this spring. Since 2003, Alabama Power has deployed more than 60,000 Christmas trees in company reservoirs to renew and create fish habitats.
