The University of Montevallo will close today (Tuesday, April 29) at 1 p.m. This includes all classes and activities. This will not impact exams that are scheduled to conclude by 12:30 p.m. We have elected not to begin the 1:30 p.m. exam session because the National Weather Service is predicting a high likelihood of severe weather beginning in Shelby County at 3:00 p.m.

The previous deadline of 3 p.m. on April 30, for submission of grades for graduating seniors is no longer in effect. Grades for ALL students (including graduating seniors) will be due no later than 10 a.m. on Monday, May 5.

As a reminder, all residence halls are shelters. Additionally, Farmer Hall and the Ramsay Hall basement are shelters.
