Alumnus Perspective
I worked as the podcast producer at the Alabamian during my final college semester, and it feels like an understatement to say that working there genuinely changed my life. I was able to apply my English skills in a more personal way, listening and learning from the perspectives of others and diving more into topics I have really loved. Working now as a documentarian, I think that working at the Alabamian gave me a clear sense of what was possible for me, combining my interests in journalism and English into something I could easily see myself pursuing after college. – Gabriel Talley, Documentarian B.A. ‘23
