This organization was created to encourage sustainable transportation and a healthy lifestyle while bridging the gap between Montevallo as a city and as a University.
The Outdoor Adventure Club is designed for any UM student interested in promoting sustainable transportation, staying active by cycling, being outdoors, and anyone looking for a fun way to get to know members of the community. This club’s goal is to integrate ValloCycle, Alabama’s first city-wide bike share program, into everyday campus life. What biking lacks in the city of Montevallo is visibility. The Outdoor Adventure Club will be dedicated to advocating for biking and other sustainable methods of transportation. This club will also provide students at the university as well as members of the community with fun recreational rides and other opportunities.
