Elementary Education Alternative Master's Program Overview CoverThe Alternative Master’s Elementary Education Degree Program is designed for individuals who have a bachelor’s degree in another field and wish to become certified to teach at the elementary level (grades K-6).  Completion of the program leads to Class A certification in the state of Alabama and a master’s degree in Elementary Education.  Students must be admitted unconditionally in this program.  Please notice: Due to the substantial field components completed each semester, courses are offered in a face-to-face format during mornings and afternoons.  This enables candidates to gain four semesters of practical, professional experience and network in local, public elementary schools.  Specifically, this program is designed to meet the needs of full-time graduate students.
