In addition to serving as community relations manager, Carol serves as coordinator of Leadership Shelby County, a 501 (c) 3 organization. Founded in 1994 to develop leaders in Shelby County, Leadership Shelby County endeavors to provide a class of 40 members with knowledge, network connections and resources to bring new ideas to the table for Shelby County. The Leadership Shelby County program has been housed at the University of Montevallo since 1994.
Prior to joining the UM staff, Carol served as executive director of the Greater Shelby County Education Foundation. Her dedication to the county has made Carol our most well known staff member in University Relations.
