Update on UM COVID-19 Protocols (April 14, 2022)
With COVID-19 case numbers declining and the availability of effective vaccines and treatments, the University of Montevallo has phased out all previous COVID-19 protocols effective Friday, April 15, 2022.
Those at heightened risk for COVID-19 — especially those who are unvaccinated — are strongly advised to get vaccinated, boosted, continue to wear masks and continue to limit their interactions with others.
All members of the campus community are encouraged to continue practicing personal responsibility to keep themselves and fellow Falcons safe.
Campus administration will continue to monitor COVID-19 and CDC guidance, as they do with any other infectious disease. The COVID-19 Task Force will be ready to take action to mitigate future outbreaks should they arise. Any necessary updates will be posted on this webpage and/or communicated via UM email.
